Can I change the way my site sorts the search results?

By default your site WHI-powered webstore will sort the results by the order of your DCF (display control file) that you configure at nexpart.com/admin
To override this behavior there are a few steps.
1) Go to your store settings - mainteditstore.wws and click 'edit'
2) Search for the following tag names in the 'advset' field (WHPARTSSORTTYPE and WHPARTSSORTORDER). By default the system assumes the 'sort type' is CHARACTER or TEXT. The field names you can sort by are below. If you want to sort by a numeric field, you need to enter the word NUMERIC in the WHPARTSSORTTYPE tag.
3) Choose a sort field column name from below and enter it in the WHPARTSSORTORDER tag.
Be careful not to disrupt the formatting of the advset tag.
