Weights are not currently available by part number in the WHI (Wrenchead) catalog feed that powers your webstore. Instead, your webstore has a database that stores weight by part type. Part types are items like oil filter, brake disc, water pump, etc. The weights found in this table have been managed over a period of ten years by our merchants who regularly update a shared file. To manage these weights, go to your control panel (admin.epc) and in the inventory section look for the option 'wrenchead part type weight maintenance'.
When clicking the link you will be given an option to manage the shared file, or to manage your own version of the file. Once you choose, you can search for part types by keyword and then edit the weight. All future orders will use the latest weights you have managed at the part type-level. If you ever want to manage weight at the item-level, you must use the inventory maintenance feature and edit the 'weight' field.
