How do I only sell parts that are in stock?

If you do not want your site to be able to take orders when stock = 0, then you must do the following.
1) go to admin.epc (your control panel)
2) then in the administration section click 'store settings', click edit
3) scroll to the field 'trackinv' and turn ON
4) hit save, your done.

TrackInv stands for 'track inventory'. When on, only items with stock can be added to a shopping cart.

Often this store option is used in conjunction with the option 'specordok' which stands for 'ok to accept special orders'. If specordok is turned ON you will see quote links when items have no stock, otherwise items with no stock will be hidden from view.
