How do I set-up my site so that items that IMC does not stock come up when entered?
When a consumer enters a part number into your IMC integrated site, it first checks the IMC server for inventory and by default displays a 'special order / quote form' if no items are available. Incidentally, the IMC system accepts OE numbers and Aftermarket numbers. If you add the following tag to your 'advanced settings' the Sophio system will search your inventory file for the number as well and display it in the same look and feel as the IMC catalog part number results.

Another slick feature with this task, is that you can enter an entirely different number in the SKUFORM field of inventory maintenance. For example if you want to have spaces in your numbers, or an entirely different number. It is a one to one interchange. We will print the number that the consumer entered in the search on the invoice.
Note: This feature is only operational for IMC integrated customers due to the way the IMC system works.
