WHI support has informed us that they have corrected the issue with the primary database server cluster and plan to reinstate it at 10pm ET 3/15/2013. We expect planned downtime between 10pm EDT and 12am EDT 3/15/2013 for this purpose. This timeframe is traditionally the lowest traffic period for our sellers, so we expect very low impact to parts buyers.
For those who did not receive notice from WHI for the issue a few days ago they wrote this: "On March 13, 2013, we experienced a disruption in our ecommerce services. This disruption was caused by a hardware issue in our primary database server cluster causing us to switch to a backup database server cluster to resume services. We are aware of how critical our services are to your business and apologize for any inconvenience this disruption may have caused you. We manage our infrastructure to provide a 99.99% uptime and remain steadfast in maintaining it at that level."
