Keyword searching is a new feature that was added on March 24, 2004. The simple idea is to give your users a link at your home page to find items in your inventory file by keyword. You can add an unlimited number of keywords to your keyword file (wws_keyword.dbf) and the searches will search 'in' the keyword. For example searching for the keyword filter, would find the saved keyword oil filter.
When adding records to the keyword file, you are required the keyword and the actual page that is returned when this keyword is selected. A fully qualified url must be entered. For example, you might have the keyword 'oil filter', and a link to http://www.yoursite.com/item.wws?sku=1234&mfr=ABC. The resulting click would redirect the user to that specific page.
