Why is the list price and sell price the same?

When your site is integrated with the suppliers catalog, they often do not send list price or an accurate list price.  Sophio wants to help you earn your desired markup, so when this scenario occurs, we make the list price the same as the sell price.  If we did not do this, then you might end up selling items at only a few points over your cost.

Example:

Cost to you - 10.00
Supplier's List - 12.00
Your desired markup - 1.30  (30% markup from cost) - 13.00

Without our 'override' your sell price would be higher than the list price, so we make them the same.

To remove this behavior, you have to 'edit store settings', then scroll to the 'advset' field and remove the following tag:

<USEMARKUPCALCONLY>TRUE</USEMARKUPCALCONLY>
