How come my OE store shows duplicate results by part number?

If you are an OE car dealer, and you have our integrated package, and you are wondering how to stop your site from showing duplicate part numbers on a single part number search, then visit the store settings (storesetup.wws) and click the Inventory tab. Turn off 'special orders', and they will be hidden. This is happening because your site is most likely a multi-make, single-rooftop dealership. When a part number search is done, we are not asking what 'make' it is; thus, we have to check the WHI DCF file for all possible makes. It may seem weird, but the problem is now solved!

Note:  If you want to sell items you do not stock (most do), be sure to turn on the OVERSELL feature for both the OEC and the OEA catalog. You do this from the same page.
