How do I use a ceiling price in pricing models?

In older versions of our software we used to base our pricing on what we called a 'ceiling' price. The ceiling was some discount off list price. The idea was that if a consumer came to an aftermarket website and saw a price, the price should never exceed List less some discount. This is because most new car dealers will sell parts mail order for 5-20% off list price. To achieve this in Sophio you would simply set the 'markdn' to some value such as .95 or .85. The software would then take the merchant cost, multiply times the markup, and then make sure it did not exceed the 'ceiling'. To achieve this feature you would add the following tag to your 'advset' field in store settings.

TRUE

To get to the 'advset' field do these steps.

1) go to your control panel (admin.epc)
2) go to 'edit store settings'
3) click the 'edit' button
4) scroll to bottom or hit ctrl+f and search for advset
5) insert a line in the box and on one line put the tag: TRUE
