What happens when a return is not delivered? Is it insured?

When a buyer chooses 'not as described' when creating a return on eBay, eBay will ask the seller to pay for return shipping.  If you want to insure the return it is up to you to get your own shipping label and purchase insurance.  It is highly recommended you do so on any high value order.  Sophio FBS does not insure any package on the way out or the way back in.   It is quite rare for packages to get lost but it does happen.  We recommend that all sellers ask buyers to purchase their own shipping label via USPS and insure it.  If you do this, it is the buyers responsibility and if the package is lost it is on them and not the seller.  Be sure to save the transaction id on Paypal when sending your buyer the money for the label if you choose to do so.  eBay will ask for proof that you paid for the label if you are using the managed return process.
