What's the difference between Sophio and Nexpart B2C?

First some history...  As you likely know by now Sophio powers many different eCommerce programs.  We got started in 1999 working exclusively with Worldpac, who is now owned by Advance Auto Parts.  We then partnered up with IMC who is now owned by Autozone.  As the business and industry changed we partnered up with WHI Solutions (now an eBay company) the leader in b2b Automotive eCommerce.  WHI began by referring Sophio clients for integration projets, web design and web hosting and eventually chose Sophio as their exclusive provider of B2C web stores.   In fact, Sophio has been helping WHI customers sell retail auto parts since 2006.  Today, when you signup with WHI to sell parts online, the assumption is that you are a brick and mortar seller who has their own inventory of parts and that you need installation and setup assistance.  WHI has a catalog with over 1000 brands of foreign and domestic parts that you can custom build a catalog from.  If that describes your business and your strategy for selling parts online then you will want to head on over to the Nexpart B2C site by clicking here.

If you do not have a warehouse or parts store/department and just want to sell parts online, you can do so with Sophio and our subsidiary compoany b2c Central.  B2C Cenral aggregates inventory from hundreds of warehouses throughout North America.  When you signup for a B2C Central account, you become an affiliate.  B2C Central sells to you at the wholesale cost, and when you sell a part, you collect the money from your customer, and B2C Central fulfills the order.  When you send B2C Central an order, your credit card will be charged for the cost of the parts plus any tax and or shipping fee's due.

So, the big difference between Sophio+B2C Central and a Nexpart B2C store, is that with Nexpart B2C you can custom build your OWN catalog as well as self host the system on your own servers.  With a Sophio store and B2C Central affiliate account, you use the B2C Central catalog and inventory to power your store.  There are pro's and con's, and it is up to you to figure out which will work best for your business.

Lastly, if you start off with Sophio, you can easily move to Nexpart B2C at any time because the software platform is exactly the same.
